Tyler Wong began his career in the sport of rugby in April of 2018 playing for Rugby Canada in the U19 team. His physical stats show that Wong is 6’2” and weighs approximately 230 pounds. Rugby media journalists have mentioned that while playing rugby, Mr. Wong has carried 19 times, ran about 117 meters, and successfully completed 24 tackles in Major League Rugby with the Toronto Arrows last year.

While playing in the Canada U19 team, Mr. Wong has competed alongside his teammates on tours to Dublin, Ireland, and Belfast, Ireland. In 2020, Mr. Wong has played in the Canada U20 team, and competed on a tour to Portugal. Most recently, Mr. Wong was selected to play in the Canadian National Team, which ranks 21st in the world. In 2023, Mr. Wong was appointed to play with the Toronto Arrows, a Major League Rugby team that is internationally recognized.

Some awards that he has won throughout his rugby career include a bronze medal for the Canadian University Nationals in 2018, and gold medal for the Canadian University Nationals Championship in 2019.
