Velie Law Firm’s Jon Velie will be speaking on ”How to Practice Law in a HawaiianShirt,” to OU Law’s graduating students in Professor Robert Smith’s class. Velie’s speech provides law students with a myriad of options for lawyers. This is Velie’s third year to present the speech.

Jon Velie will present the keynote speech “Building the Cross-Border Ecosystem” at the Girl 2.O Expo at the beautiful Himalayas Center in Shanghai, China, November 6, 2010. Jon will also be presenting a workshop on Doing Business in America and sitting as a judge for Gone is 30 Seconds, a 30 second pitch contest for start-ups.

Jon Velie will be meeting with international tennis stars at the US Open August 29-30 in New York City.

SLA is the leading association for lawyers and agents working in the Sports Industry. Mr. Velie will co-present with Jessica Berman, Associate Counsel for the National Hockey League (NHL) and attorney, Glenn Girdharry.
