Alex Goff’s article “Coming to America-How a Rugby Playing Lawyer Helps Foerign-Born Players Play in the USA,” published April 8, 2010 features Jon Velie and Velie Law Firm’s long and succesful history in sports immigration.

Jon Velie will speak on the panel “Immigration and Sports-Current Issues and What You Need to Know,” at the Sports Law Association’s (SLA) 36th Annual Conference, May 20-22, 2010, in Phoenix, AZ. SLA is the leading association for lawyers and agents working in the Sports Industry. Mr. Velie will co-present with Jessica Berman, Associate Counsel for the National Hockey League (NHL) and attorney, Glenn Girdharry.
